Achievements

In the season 2022/2023 I played 10 games during the first half of the season, in which I played as a defender on the right and left side. The second half of the season I was studying abroad, this is why I did not play any games the second half of the season.

The indoor season of this year was a successful one where I played 6 games for the first team and 3 for the second team. With the first team we won the district championships.

The season 2023/2024 is half way now as I’m writing this. So far I played all 11 games, mostly as a central defender but also making some minutes as a forward in crucial parts of 3 games. In one of those games I scored a goal tying the game in the last 10 minutes, we ended up winning this game!

Personal Statement

As an experienced player in the senior division in The Netherlands, I bring positive energy and leadership to the field. My number 1 key strength is my adaptability on and off the field. I will adapt to what is needed of me, making me a real team player.

In the past 4 years playing in the highest senior team of my club Union I have played as a forward player as well as a defender, sometimes both in one game. My strength on the field is my strong passing and tactical insight.

At college in the United States I hope to use my leadership skills to mean something for the team. I’m keen to improve my physical strength and stamina in a team where everyone wants to work just as hard as me. Off the field I hope to improve my time management skills in combining sports and education. I’m looking for a school with a positive team culture where there is space for me to use my positive leadership skills and grow as a player. I also value my education so I am looking for an academic program that will help me improve as a physical therapist.
