Soccer Background
I began my football journey at XerxesDZB Rotterdam, where I played in the first teams from U9 to U17, often competing in older age groups. During my time there, I won championships with the U13 and U15 teams. I then moved to Excelsior Maassluis, representing the U17, U18, and U21 teams. Currently, I play for Alexandria’66 Rotterdam U21. Since the age of 16, I have consistently competed in a professional league.
In addition to my club experience, I had trials with Sparta Rotterdam (2020/2021) and Excelsior Rotterdam (2015-2017). I was also selected for the KNVB Regio West district team (2015-2017).
My biggest strengths on the field are my anticipation, control, and positioning, allowing me to read the game and stay one step ahead. Additionally, my mentality and endurance set me apart, keeping me sharp and energized both physically and mentally throughout the game.
Why College Soccer:
My main reason for wanting to play football in the United States is the opportunity to combine high-level football with quality education, something that is more challenging to achieve in the Netherlands. Additionally, living abroad and experiencing a new country is an exciting adventure that I look forward to.
Academically, my goal is to earn a second master's degree, further expanding my knowledge and career opportunities. On the field, I aim to win a championship with my team, perform well in matches, and continue to grow as both a player and a person. Beyond football and academics, I want to embrace the experience, make lasting memories and fully enjoy my time in the U.S.
