Why We Founded Plus31 Sports

Christoph and I (Lars) founded Plus31 Sports and offer college sports recruiting services because we wanted to guide players on a more personal level than we saw with some ‘big’ agencies. We believe this process is life-changing, and you need the personal attention you deserve to make the best decisions at this stage of your life. 

The journey to play in the USA is different for each person. Our goal is to put ourselves in the shoes of our athletes and their families. We have been there as well, and no ‘general’ advice suits everyone. You need guidance tailored to what you need. 

We both played at the professional academy level and in the top amateur senior leagues before we started our own journey to play college sports.

During and after this journey, we realized that the search for the perfect fit should be centered around the individual athlete, as there are many different opportunities and options here.

Keeping It Small

We keep our agency small and only work with a limited amount of athletes. We do this to ensure we have the time to give all of our athletes and their families the time and attention they deserve. When you work with us, you know you are being taken care of.

What Do Our College Sports Recruiting Services Include?

Before We Start

Before starting the actual recruitment process, we begin with a free consultation call and evaluation of what is possible for you. By doing this, you already know what you can expect in terms of schools, sports programs, and finances.

Preparation

When we start your journey, we will need to take care of a couple of things first before we can begin to connect you with the right schools and coaches:

1. Build your recruitment profile
2. Create your highlight video
3. Collect your high school transcripts
4. Register you for necessary tests
5. Register with the NCAA or NAIA

Connecting With Coaches

We keep communicating about what you’re looking for regarding school programs, coaching style, location, campus size, sports program and everything else that’s important for you. Based on this, we make a selection of schools that we think is a good fit for you.

We start connecting you with the coaches and schools and prepare you for the first interviews with coaches. We advise you on how to handle scholarship offers and how to make a decision eventually.

Paperwork

This is the boring and long part. You will have to start applying to the chosen university, send in all the documents to the NCAA or NAIA to become eligible, and more. 

We give you the right instructions on how to handle this so you don’t waste unnecessary time in this process.

After you have signed your scholarship agreement (NLI) and the school accepts you, you can apply for the F1 student visa. It sounds like a lot, which it is, but we have done this a dozen times and make sure it all goes smoothly.

Ongoing Support In The USA

My entire statement about us being so personal would be deceptive if we weren’t supporting you when you were in America. 

No, even when you’re here, we stay in touch and make sure you are doing well. We try even to come visit you and watch a game or two.

And if you’re unhappy with where you are, we can help you transfer to another university. 

At the end of the day, your future is our main concern.
